1.
House of the Righteous [Verse] Behind an ancient gate with warning inscriptions passing sightless shapes that scream in desperation there lies a skyline made of fire Abandon all hope who enter here Vitriolic grimaces emerge from muddy waters Vision obscured by black mist Abandon all hope who enter here Giant serpent creatures slowly morphing into one contorted faces twisted backwards Images created in the house of the righteous [Chorus] Oh won’t you follow me down Say won’t you follow me down
2.
Gravity 08:46
Gravity [Verse] Far away, high above from where everything seems trivial a ray of shadows rushes by without noticing me here darkish red slowly turning blue [Chorus] I cannot retain these sensations in me and I realize gravity slowly pulls me down [Verse] My fingertips sweep through mile-long meadows the sunrise comes melting down from up here I grasp everything and forget it right away [Chorus] [Verse] I rest my head on this tranquility distant screams gently susurrate I close my eyes to catch sight of all the subtleties the ground I stand on was created from melodies that are familiarly unknown I am granted invincibility for a fraction of time [Chorus]
3.
Kronos 09:17
Kronos [Verse] A brute force awakened at the dawn of existence its everlasting grip is equally effective on priests and non-believers No judgment, no ethics, disregarding the skeptics the path that it is choosing can never be altered by human sets of values No gadgets are helping to measure the dynamics every attempt to take over control is foredoomed to instant failure extinction, devastation, bringing an end to entire nations there are no restraints it crosses all borders and always marches forward [Chorus] Origin of all Demise for everyone Ready to fall Neverending run [Verse] The scale of every action is dwarfed by its mighty presence for every damage done it holds out the prospect of encompassing cleansing Like a river it is flowing, never stopping, ever growing by breaking every dam and shredding all barriers it flushes away rememberance [Bridge] Every rule can be shifted There is no option to predict it all-embracing, all forsaking an impact that’s never fading despite its ever-presence and our awareness it remains forever nameless [Chorus]
4.
The Mind’s Eye [Verse] The door closed and brought in the darkness I don’t know how long I’ve been here longing for everything and nothing at once the only clear sensation is a hammering in my head [Bridge] I’m at their mercy What do they want? I’m at their mercy What will they do? [Chorus] No light Am I alone? I hear voices Or is it my own? [Verse] The door closed and brought in the silence shadows move around as if to mock me I feel a hole opening beneath me but I can’t tell if I’m falling [Bridge] I’m at their mercy What will they do? I’m at their mercy What do they want? [Chorus] [Verse] They kick the door in light pierces my eyes they drag me through a hallway and throw me on a chair they ask me questions but all I can say is I can’t remember and I don’t know my name
5.
Deimos 03:24
6.
The Elephant 06:30
The Elephant He sits majestically on his lotus throne His appearance unblemished despite imperfections personified modesty insatiable hunger for joy advocate of progress offspring of destruction and fertility a leader to success a challenger that puts you to the test infuriated by disrespect He stands impatiently amidst his lotus throne wielding an ax in his hand be prepared, be prepared
7.
Dare Mighty Things [Verse] Riding through this awe-inspiring desert swirling up red sand as I go surrounded by nothing but endless wasteland yet I see opportunity in this solitude [Bridge + Chorus] I hear the wind force increasing the war god announces a blizzard I won’t let this break my spirit so I tell myself to Dare mighty things [Verse] Slowly I am making my way out of Jezero Crater singing dunes compose songs of humming and screeching all these impressions arouse my curiosity [Bridge + Chorus] this travel demands perseverance so I tell myself to Dare mighty things [Verse] Below me there is only dead soil rivers that once flourished dried out long ago the sun slowly sank beneath the horizon it’s getting hard to move on in this icy drought

about

If you remember our demo ep (released 2019), you’ll notice that our debut album now features vocals. That’s because another band member joined our crew.
Sebastian and the rest of the band used the Covid-break to revise existing songs as well as work on new ones, before considering recording an album. We took adequate time for this, sometimes re-structuring or even dismissing existing songs. Sebastian shares our love for science fiction, old movies and all kinds of nerdy topics, which becomes obvious to anyone paying attention to the lyrics. For example ‘Dare Mighty Things’ is the slogan of NASA’s Perserverance Mars mission. Just like our demo, our album features a short interlude as a sort of audible breather. On the demo, the interlude was named “Phobos”, now it’s named “Deimos”. If you know your astronomy, you might be able to spot a pattern here.
While we did everything ourself back when we recorded our demo, this time we sent our recorded tracks to
Magnetic Audio for mixing and to Die Tonmeisterei for Mastering. Cover and booklet artwork were designed by Miasma.
